| Biggest Adventure to Date: Juggling my full time education with that of kayaking. It's been quite an adventure cramming in weekend trips to Vancouver Island BC, California and Washington while going to school full time. Makes you good at multi-tasking so you can play later :) Really though, my biggest adventure to date would have to be my trip to BC with Team Wave Sport. We played at Skook for a week, and went creeking around squamish for a week. Incredible play, Beautiful scenery, steep creeks. It was awesome. |
| Gear and Future Plans: I get cold easily when I'm on the river, so I rely heavily on Kokatat's layering systems and GORE-TEX gear to stay warm. My Kokatat dry suit keeps me warm no matter the conditions. (Plus it makes an awesome suit to bike to school in when it's raining and your rain jacket gets stolen out of your car). This summer I hope to make it back up to Canada to play at Skookumchuck, as well as do some creeking in BC. I'm hoping to fit it an international trip somewhere in there too. |
