| Experience | Paddling just under six years, and love expedition kayaking. There is nothing like exploring! |
| Achievements | Documented explorations in Hotel Charley II: River of Doubt, and Hotel Charley III: The Lost World. |
| Biggest Adventure | The current highlight for me has to be the “8th River expedition” with Ben Stookesberry. We left for one weekend on Dinkey Creek with Taylor Robertson, and came back 28 days, having dropped 28,000’ of vertical, hiked 73 miles and 12,000’ with loaded boats. That or the Rio Alseseca for Hotel Charley II, I was in over my head on that one! |
| Kayak Love | I love kayaking because of the unique places I get to see and experience. I’ve always loved canyons, rivers and creeks, and getting to enjoy and share these places is a major part of my love for kayaking. Specifically I love expedition kayaking because it makes me face more challenges than anything else I have done. It constantly pushes me mentally, physically, emotionally, and often humbles me in the process. I also love whitewater photography, and photography in general. Just trying to capture the slightest feeling of the joy of paddling or a special moment in life is a gigantic challenge. I love working with Kokatat because I feel their values of integrity, quality and service match perfectly with my ideals. |
