2 time Canadian Freestyle Team, 9th 2005 Freestyle Worlds, but to be honest am more excited about the great expeditions I have been lucky enough to be a part of over the past few years. So thanks!! to Corey for leading us down the Stikine, and Trip for letting me tag along on the Epicocity Expeditions.

| Biggest Adventure |
2004 has been my biggest adventure to date. I was fortunate enough to paddle some of the best creeking in the world hitting California, Washington, BC, Chile and Norway all before the end of May. From there it just kept on going with a rainy Western Canadian summer that included big water play and steep creeking in my own back yard, and finally capped by making the National Freestyle Team so that I was eligible to compete at the 2005 World's in Australia!Source to sea of the Pandi River on Papua New Gunnea’s Isl. of West New Britain, was a big one for me. We hiked up and down through the jungle for days to find the source of the Pandi located inside a massive cave, with the river pouring through the rocks above. From there it was four days to the sea, slowly changing in character from challenging steep creeking, to medium then big volume river running, to meandering croc. waters, and finally ending with several miles of open sea. Can’t say that I have ever felt so committed as we were in that thick PNG jungle. |
