| Experience | I'm so privileged to have grown up along the Rogue River in Southern Oregon and have been on the water since before I could walk. When my dad put me, paddle in hand, in his Dancer for a picture he probably couldn't imagine what I would be doing just a few years later. Since then my paddling has slightly improved and I've been expedition kayaking for the last 5 years. |
| Achievements | Achievement outside the competitive world is a pretty personal measure. Participating in a descent of the Indus River in Pakistan and working on KAIAK, a Brazilian TV series in its 4th season, are significant to me. Also, making the recent first descent of Toketee Falls close to where I learned to paddle was quite satisfying. |
| Biggest Adventure | Biggest adventure was traveling through Central Africa with Hendri Coetzee and Ben Stookesberry. A high water descent of the Murchison Falls section of the Nile was a highlight, but the whole trip was an amazing adventure, only ending unfortunately. Time and space are different in Africa, dependent on man and elastic, and this trip was the beginning of a love for an amazing collection of people, places, and possibilities. |
