Kayak Fishing
Age 0
Hometown Puget Sound (WA)
Experience First time kayak fishing: 2004.
Achievements 27 pound Chinook, Moutcha Bay pro division 1st place (2008).
Biggest Adventure Figure what the fish want for the day and be confident.
Philosophy Trolling 15 plus miles through sun, rain, wind, and ripping tides for a beefy Chinook is just an average day of hunting for me. Puget Sound is home, and dropping a 6 pound ball off the downrigger with a hand made lure is my fishing style of choice. Although the sound is where you'll most likely find me, I also frequently fish for lingcod, halibut, steelhead, and sturgeon in some of the nation's finest waters. As a moderator of the largest kayak fishing community in the Northwest (Northwest Kayak Anglers.com), I am always ready to lend a hand to kayak fishing newbies. It's the camaraderie, friendly competition, and challenge of landing that record fish that makes kayak fishing my life's passion.
