| Experience | I have been paddling for almost 20 years. |
| Achievements | I am most proud off starting NorthWestKayakAnglers.com in 2006. I originally started the site in order to find fellow kayak anglers to fish with. Since that time NWKA has grown to almost 900 members. |
| Biggest Adventure | In 2007 I organized an expedition to Prince William Sound in Alaska to target Salmon Shark. Salmon shark are in the same family as makos and great whites. Within 5 minutes of hitting the water, all 4 members of the team were hooked up and getting pulled in different directions. Luckily we had a support boat. An hour later we had all caught salmon sharks in the 400-450 pounds range, the largest fish caught off of kayaks in modern times. I was featured on the cover of Fish Alaska Magazine and the Discovery Channel featured our group on an episode of Man vs Fish with Matt Watson. |
| Mission | I am on a quest to define the kayak fishing lifestyle, but I don't know what it is yet. Surfers look for the perfect wave, but what do kayak angles look for? |
