Kokatat's History with W.L. Gore & Associates
Kokatat and W.L Gore and Associates have a long history of collaboration. The timetable below illustrates this fact. Many fabric manufacturers claim that their products are comparable or superior, but after years of manufacturing, Kokatat continues to use GORE-TEX® technology because, over the long haul, there is nothing better.

Years ago, W.L. Gore and Associates asked Kokatat to help develop a dry suit that wouldn’t leak, even when fully immersed in water. Out of that research came the GORE-TEX® 3.21 program, a highly abrasion and puncture resistant membrane and fabric package engineered to stay durably waterproof and breathable even under water.
